This policy describes how Build ERP (“we,” “our,” or “the Application”) handles information in connection with the QuickBooks Online integration. It supplements our product Privacy Policy and does not replace the privacy policy of Intuit Inc. (“Intuit”) for QuickBooks Online. We encourage you to review Intuit’s privacy policy as well.
When you connect your QuickBooks Online company to Build ERP, we receive and store data that you authorize through the integration. This may include accounting and related data such as accounts, bills, bill payments, checks, credit card transactions, credit memos, invoices, items, journal entries, purchase orders, receive payments, vendors, and vendor credits. This data is made available to the Application at configured intervals so we can operate and provide the service to you.
We use the QuickBooks data only to operate and provide Build ERP and the QuickBooks Online integration. We do not sell this data. We do not use it for marketing or advertising unrelated to the Application. Access within our systems is limited to what is necessary to run the Application and to support you in accordance with your agreement with us.
Connection to QuickBooks Online uses OAuth 2.0 as provided by Intuit. You authorize the Application to access your QuickBooks company data through the consent flow presented by Intuit. We store only the tokens necessary to maintain the connection and provide the integration. You can revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting the integration. We provide a dedicated Disconnect page where you can manage the disconnection of your QuickBooks Online company from the Application.
We retain data in accordance with our data retention and backup policies and applicable law. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data in our systems. You are responsible for securing your QuickBooks Online account and your access to the Application.
You may disconnect your QuickBooks Online company from the Application at any time via the Disconnect flow. After disconnection, we will stop receiving new data from QuickBooks Online; handling of data already in our systems will follow our data retention and deletion practices.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the QuickBooks Online integration after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
For questions about this privacy policy or the QuickBooks Online integration, please contact your Build ERP administrator or support channel.
